Jill waited for her love, Jack
But he came late, he didn’t call back.
Jill said that she felt mistreated.
Jack left feeling so defeated.
Then one day Jack was quite sick.
Jill ran to his side real quick.
While Jack was lying on his side,
Jill sat by him and cried, and cried.
Jack and Jill went up the hill
To fetch a pail of water.
Jack fell down and broke his crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.
Up Jack got, and home did trot,
As fast as he could caper;
To old Dame Dob, who patched his nob
With vinegar and brown paper.
